    Vicious Crusade is a band that comes from Belarus. The lyrics are usually anti-government and patriotic. The band started on 1996 when four students (Dmitriy basik, Aleksey vertel', Aleksey gladysh, Pavel reunov) of Minsk state linguistic university decided to create a group called Vicious Crusade. Subsequently, after almost 45 days of creating the band, they recorded their first demo, which turned out to be a great example on how must a demo sound: Life That Kills. After the sucess of the demo, the wrote 5 tracks to realease a full-length album, featuring vocals of Elena gorshchuk , whom introduces new sound directions to the band and achieves the band to adquire more sound quality. And finally, later that year, they release their planned full lenght album titled as the demo: Life That Kills. This full-lenght sold out pretty well and exceeded the expectations of many. The band aperaed on TV, magazines, etc, all of them discusing about the iniciative of the band ad its superior achievement for just one demo and a full-length. In 1997, the band asks Alena Gornyh to be their new vocalist. She accepted and they recorded an EP called Faces of Vice. This EP includes "verses" in spanisha and drags the band closer to Folk music influence. After recording it, the band played infront of 2000 in the Extremun '97 festival. This was a pretty sucssesfull year for the band. In 1998, the band went on their first tour around Belarus, attracting more fans and gathering more followers. A bit later that year, they decided to record and write down their second Full-lenght "The Unbroken". Their presentation of this album was set down in Moscow and went on during this year. 1999 was the year when several newspapers and magazines made toplist where the band appear in very important places: -On the interrogations "M"-.magazine (Legion): -Group of year (Belarus) ) - the second position -Group of year - the fourth position. -On the interrogations of (musical newspaper): -Group of year ( (Belarus) ) - the first position; -Best album of year - sixth position. -The Russian magazine Painkiller evaluates album "The Unbroken" as Five marks of five possible The new album "Freedom Comes" is released on May 29th 2009.
